SACRED MOUNTAIN
The spirit of the mountain is what entices me in these works, not the actual mountain itself. Each painting developed through a process of my not knowing what was about to occur, I simply mixed colors that appealed to me with the intention of a mountain forming during the process. Ultimately, the connection with spirit and nature was the result. My friend and photographer Jonathan describes these paintings:
